**Sad update: We lost Ruby in the fall of 2006 to her battle with a bout of torsion (twisted gut). We caught it immediately and opted to have the vet perform the expensive surgery but she still passed a couple days later while still in intensive care. We can not express the pain this caused our whole family. We are blessed to have two of her daughters from a 2005 breeding with Amos. See Dazzle and Star.

Ruby is John's pride and joy and thanks needs to go out to Tom Hertz for allowing us to bring her home (as well as Music and Amos). Ruby is quite the coon hungry hound. She is very intelligent and always alert. She is high drive and high energy but always stays in tune with her handler.
Ruby was the star huntress around here. VERY independent and confident in the woods. One track mind for finding raccoons.
